Polyarticular Gout is a form of arthritic condition that is the result of painful crystals forming in the joints. These crystals form due to increased amounts of uric acid in your blood.
Acute Polyarticular Gout often affects more than one joint although it usually is in the lower extremities. It often only affects one side of the body.
Mostly seen in older people. The most common joints affected are the ankles, feet, elbows, wrists, and the hands.
It is often misdiagnosed as other more common arthritis disorders such as septic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative joint disease, and even hemiparesis. (according to Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases).
The crystals cause inflammation.
Water cures can work to end your acute polyarticular gout. Go to The Water Cures Protocol and start right away.
Cherry Juice for Gout
If you are one of the few that the Water Cures protocol does not work on, then try tart cherries. Specifically try tart cherry juice concentrate in conjunction with the water cure protocol.
Get some Montmorency tart cherry juice concentrate. Put two table spoons in a glass of water and drink down. You can do this twice or three times a day. Do for 15 days but then do not do more than two to three days on and four to five days off.
Unlike the salt (because of the minerals), if you exceed the three to four days without the rest period, you may lose the beneficial effect of the cherry juice.
One word of caution when buying, avoid the vitamin web sites. In our experience, they often have weaker concentrations. It is best to buy directly from the orchards. This will provide you better quality for the same price. You can find the tart cherry concentrate on the web. It's best to get it in glass bottles.Note We do not sell or promote products from this site. If you would like to buy it, we do not sell it. Please do a web search for "68 Brix tart cherry juice concentrate, glass bottles" with out the quotes. The Brix is the concentration and 68 is the highest we have found.
A second natural cure for gout is aluminum free baking soda.
Use 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda completely dissolved in a glass of water.Drink it 2 x a day for 3 days.
To find why these work, you need to know the gout causes.
Causes of Gout
To find the causes of gout look no farther than the cause of high uric acid.
There are several culprits of high uric acid.
- Hereditary (it could be in your genes)
- Diet: Eating high fructose corn syrup, and table sugar can cause increased levels of uric acid.
- Fasting and or rapid weight loss can result in elevated uric acid in your blood.
- Drugs like thiazide diuretics can elevate uric acid by interfering with the elimination of uric acid.
But the most obvious and easiest to correct...
- Unintentional chronic dehydration
Taking unprocessed sea salt and drinking water helps your body detoxify. More importantly, it helps your body to maintain its own balance. One of the balances we need is with the chemicals we produce and build up inside our body. Getting the water inside us helps maintain this balance.
