Inquiring minds will want to know....
As you watch Water Cure Fact or Fiction with Dr. Batmangehlidgh and Bob Butts, there are some simple and logical questions you may want to ask.
Doctor Robert Brown, Chief of Infectious Disease at Wyoming Valley Health System was the representative of modern medicine.
Dr. Brown spoke of the need for double blind placebo testing.
How would you have a double blind test of salt. What could you use that would taste like salt and not be salt and yet be totally inert.
How would you have a double blind test where water was the treatment? How could you blind the group that gets the intervention and the group that gives the treatments so that neither would know that half of the patients were being given water and the other half were being given a placebo of water?
What could possibly be used as a placebo for water?

Clinical trials, often financed by drug companies, doctor the findings (no pun intended). Many studies are never published because they do not provide the desired results. Sometimes the results are skewered because those who have the favorable results are excluded from the study. When studies are conducted in order to find negative results, inferior products are used.
A Scientific American article points out what nobody in health care wants to admit. In the analyses of FDA studies relating to psych drugs, it was found that placebos are 82 percent as effective as the antidepressant drugs.
Interestingly, another way to make the antidepressants appear to work better is to use active placebos.' For instance, using atropine (an alkaloid), certain nerve receptors will be blocked. There are also side effects like dry mouth.
We are not suggesting that anyone stop taking their antidepressant drugs. They do work for many, some of whom are our dear friends.
What we are suggesting is that there may be a better way for some. There may be alternatives to try first. There may be an alternative with no unwanted side effects.
We believe that alternative is the Water Cures Protocol.
There is now updated understanding regarding the use of coffee. While we hold that it is best to be avoided, the reasons are not the same as originally proposed in your bodies many cries for water. There was some interesting comments in the debate about coffee.
The moderator repeatedly talks about simply removing coffee and alcohol and quitting smoking will produce the dramatic results.
What Bob Butts and Dr. Batmangehlidgh neglected to say was that even if this is true on its own, the water cures protocol makes it possible for people to sustain the changes. However, the water cures protocol does create more dramatic effects on its own that just stopping smoking, stopping coffee and drinking more water.
Also, it is not just water, it includes salt, unprocessed sea salt. The entire protocol requires consuming about 1/2 to 80 percent of your diet as raw foods to get the vital nutrients we also need for good health.
