AFib and Salt Baths

The Solution for Intermittent Weakness

This is the story of Afib and salt baths and how Julia (not her real name) was able to end her intermittent weakness.

Getting weak and staying weak for a month or more was the challenge facing this woman.

Diagnosed with AFib (Atrial fibrillation: an irregular heart rhythm where the electrical impulse starts in the atria. It causes a fast, chaotic firing in the atria which then does not contract appropriately and effectively send its blood to the ventricle). Searching for several years for the reason for intermittent weakness, there was no solution. Nobody could help.

The doctors suggested drugs. Out of desperation, along with the drugs, a number of vitamins were tried. Nothing seemed to work at all.

My AFib and Salt Baths Solution

Constantly looking for answers, a chiropractor suggested food allergies. On removing a number of the foods on the list of the most common allergic response foods, there was some improvement. Previous to this, she did not have any known food allergies except for pollen allergies.

Every time she experienced AFib, it turned out that one of the offending food with a suspected allergies was the cause.

She suggested if anyone is not finding answers to their health challenges and get a blood test.

Although there are occasionally food allergy issues, they are not crippling any more. When getting AFib, there is no longer a need to go to the ER. Instead, relief comes from a salt bath and taking some nutrients.

The episodes last maybe 15 minutes and the longest, no more than nine hours with the average of 6 hours. Although they are annoying, they do not ruin her entire day. Certain vitamins and or too many of them and certain foods were the cause of the AFib. Anything with soy, although it did not cause AFib, it did increase the chances of having weakness.

Need To Know

Afib is the most common of the irregular heartbeats. When it happens, it is necessary to get the heart back in the proper rhythm. There is a secondary risk of stroke that also needs to be addressed. When your heart does not pump your blood adequately, and if it slows down enough, you are at risk for a blood clot. If a clot forms, you could be in a life or death situation.

Some foods, medications and supplements may cause problems for those with AFib.

Caffeine when in excess can cause AFib. More than a cup of coffee, caffeine pills, energy drink and drinks that contain caffeine should be avoided. It is the excess that is the problem. Having a cup will not usually be a problem.

Alcohol is not good for those with afib. Alcohol is toxic to the heart muscle and can actually cause afib on its own. More of concern, alcohol can cause an increase in the heart rate. If this happens during an afib episode, it can make it even worse.

Allergy and Cold Medications

even though they can be obtained over the counter, use caution if you have afib. They can cause irregular heart beats on their own. If they designed to dilate your airways, they will stimulate your heart. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before you use them.

Green leafy veggies could be bad for you. If you are on an anticoagulant (often miscalled blood thinners), then spinach, kale and other similar veggies with vitamin K require a little care when consuming.

As a rule of thumb, ask your doctor or pharmacist before you use anything other than what your doctor prescribes.

Tip: The Water Cures protocol works for some for afib and salt baths are just another way to get the salt into our bodies.

Move it and keep your juices flowing. Movement at the least and exercise at the best will improve your health. Just clear what ever you plan to do with your doctor.

Placebo vs Nocebo

Stress, depression, anxiety and and emotions can play a role in afib. Most importantly, what you think can also be a part of improving your health. To this end, we are here to help you help yourself.

A study from the University of North Carolina found that people with afib who had more severe anxiety and depression symptoms reported more afib episodes than people with less-severe anxiety and depression. Just as anxiety and stress can hurt you, eliminating it can help you heal.

To help reduce stress and lower the risk for an afib episode, pay close attention to your emotions and schedule relaxing activities that you enjoy. If your stress, anxiety, or depression becomes overwhelming, talk to a health care professional about ways to lighten your emotional load.

At the end of the day, Julia felt that the afib and salt baths was the solution for her

Our Grandparents Knew About Mixing Hydration and Eating!

It is amazing how so many things that are new to us were common knowledge in the past. One basic practice of the Water Cures protocol is to drink at least 30-45 minutes before and 2 1/2 hours after a meal. This is not a new thought however. Notice what a magazine from 1925 had to say...

"Drink plenty of water two hours after each meal; drink none just before eating; and a small quantity if any at meal time. Do not take a bath until two hours after eating a meal, nor closer than one hour before eating. Drink a full glass of water both before and after the bath." (Golden Age, Sept. 9, 1925, pp. 784-785)

Heal Your Headache It Worked For Me

Hi, my name is Sharon. The webmaster of this site is my nurse, my personal water coach and my husband.

As this site was first being built, I had a headache and as usual took an Ibuprofen. Impatient for it to start working, I decided to try the Water Cures. I took a pinch of salt and a glass of water. Then I took a second pinch of salt and another glass of water. My headache was gone in less than 5 minutes.

From my personal experience, it usually takes 30 to 45 minutes for Ibuprofen to work. Some have found it takes ibuprofen 24 minutes to start working.

Yet on the Water Cures protocol, my headache was gone in 5 minutes.

Its simple: give your body what it needs and your body will give you what you need, the ability to feel great.

Water Cures was the solution for the elimination of my headache. It is what I will use from now on.

Why not give it a try yourself.

Have you tried the Water Cures Yet? Then why not...
